British Library North
To bring a new British Library site to the historic Temple Works site in Leeds.
Project overview
The British Library North project aims to deliver a new British Library presence in Leeds. The preferred site is currently the Grade I listed building, Temple Works, within the South Bank area of the city.
If viable, the project will involve the restoration and refurbishment of Temple Works to establish a new 8,000m2 facility for the British Library, providing learning, community, research, business incubation, events, and exhibition space.
